Allene Jackson

	Allene Jackson, 72, of Elkville, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at 8:09 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital in Murphysboro.
	Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker.  She was born February 6, 1930 at Hallidayboro, the daughter of Ola Howard and Goldie Marie (Gossett) Morgan.  She married John E. Kopp on February 26, 1949 in St. Louis and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1983.  She then married Percy Jackson in June of 1986 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1999.
	Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Moore of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Karen Monroe of DuQuoin; two step-sons, Percy Jackson of Little Rock, Ark. and Frank Jackson of New Orleans, La.;  two brothers, Howard Morgan of Festus, Mo. and Norman Morgan of Arnold, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
	Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; three sons, Rodney, John and James and two brothers.
	Funeral services were Monday, August 19 at 11 a.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Lewis officiating.  Interment was in Elkville Cemetery.
	Friends called at Neal-McClure Funeral Home on Sunday, August 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. and again on Monday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service.
	Memorials may be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
